Shanghai Corporate Pavilion

For the Shanghai Corporate Pavilion at the World Expo we built the worlds' largest 3D LED Matrix, which housed an exhibition space and an interactive 360 degree cinema for 500 people.

I built the system for interactive realtime animation to run through the LED and a rendering pipeline so that motion designers could also create linear content for it. Cameras in the cinema tracked arm gestures for the entire crowd as well as using microphones for clap detection, both of which controlled the interactive 3D LED matrices in the cinema ceiling and through the entire building in realtime.

Vivid Festival 2012

A collaboration with Justene Williams, Will.I.Am and DJ Keebz. The installation was projected onto the new facade of the MCA, Sydney. Visitors used gesture to control a loop sequencer. As well as changing the music this controlled a series of audio responsive constellations and geometry.
